With the latest series of Call The Midwife now in full swing, Sunday nights have once again been filled with plenty of drama, intrigue and heart-stopping moments as the nuns, nurses and midwives of Nonnatus House continue to welcome new life into the world. The no-nonsense nun with a heart of gold is portrayed on screen by Rebecca Gethings, an actress many viewers may recognise from her earlier work in shows such as The Thick of It and Extras.
