Ingrid Andress Flubs National Anthem Performance at Home Run Derby

Ingrid Andress received criticism for her rendition of 'The Star-Spangled Banner' at the 2024 Home Run Derby Monday.

On Monday, the Grammy-nominated country singer sang the national anthem during the 2024 Home Run Dery at Arlington’s Globe Life Field, receiving criticism for her rendition. The struggling performance comes just a few hours after Andress announced that she’ll release a new single titled “Colorado 9” on July 24, nearly a year after dropping her second album, Good Person, last August. Andress is a prolific songwriter, penning tracks including LANY’s “I Didn’t Lie,” Charli XCX’s “Boys,” and Fletcher’s “I Think I’m Growing,” and has become one of the most promising female performers in country music.
