Independent Artist Group Signs ‘Snowpiercer’ Showrunner Paul Zbyszewski
Paul Zbyszewski, showrunner for AMC's 'Snowpiercer,' has signed with Independent Artist Group for representation.
Paul ZbyszewskiVivien Killilea/Getty Images Most recently, Zbyszewski served as showrunner and exec producer for the final season of Snowpiercer, the dystopian sci-fi series based on Bong Joon-ho’s 2013 film of the same name, which was itself adapted from the French graphic novel Le Transperceneige. Set in a post-apocalyptic world where Earth has become a frozen wasteland, and the remnants of humanity survive aboard a perpetually moving train that circles the globe, the show ran on TNT for its first three seasons before moving to AMC and AMC+ for its final run of episodes. Previously, Zbyszewski also co-wrote the film After the Sunset, a 2004 action comedy starring Pierce Brosnan, Salma Hayek, and Woody Harrelson.
