Independent Artist Group Signs ‘Dog Man’ Filmmaker Peter Hastings
Peter Hastings, director of hit animated film 'Dog Man,' has signed with Independent Artist Group for representation.
Peter HastingsCourtesy The news comes following the January release of Hastings’ hit animated feature Dog Man, based on the bestselling book series by Dav Pilkey, which opened at #1 at the North American box office and has so far grossed over $105 million globally. Hastings directed from his own script, with Pete Davidson, Poppy Liu, Lil Rel Howery, and Isla Fisher leading the cast. He created and produced the live-action/animation hybrid One Saturday Morning for ABC and Disney and also wrote, directed and exec produced multiple shows for Nickelodeon and DreamWorks, including Cat Scratch, Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles(2012), Captain Underpants, and Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight.
