Incredible Hulk Author Peter David, Dead at 68
David won an Eisner in 1992 for his take on Bruce Banner.
David’s take on Bruce Banner highlighted his inner struggles, making the Banner/Hulk divide more explicitly a super-powered version of dissociative identity disorder. Besides the Hulk, David had highly-praised runs on Aquaman, Young Justice, Supergirl, and The Sensational Spider-Man. David co-created Nickelodeon’s Space Cases, an early vehicle for Firefly and Family Law Jewel Staite.
