The nonprofit, which provides grants in support of documentary filmmakers, advocates for the field and mounts fall and spring screening series and the bi-annual Getting Real conference, announced the election of Ina Fichman and Michael Turner as board co-presidents. Albert serves as EVP, global communications and talent relations for Disney Branded Television and National Geographic Content. Her recent credits include Rebel: Loreta Velazquez, Secret Soldier of the American Civil War, and the PBS series Scigirl, which earned a nomination for the 2019 Daytime Emmy Awards.
