Donald Trump called into Fox & Friends this morning, continuing to insist that he won Tuesday’s presidential debate against Kamala Harris yet also that the ABC News event was unfair and “three against one.” The effort to control the narrative started just minutes after the event ended, when both campaigns dispatched their armies of surrogates to the spin room, the Olympic-sized pool area of blue carpet in the Philadelphia Convention Center. Stephen Miller, the Trump White House senior adviser and chief architect of its immigration policy, was there, insisting that the former president’s claim that migrants were eating cats and dogs was grounded in reality.
