Imagine Entertainment and Jax Media Hires Yolanda T. Cochran as Head of Production (EXCLUSIVE)
Veteran production executive Yolanda T. Cochran has joined Imagine Entertainment and Jax Media as head of production.
As the industry evolves to meet the growing demand for high-quality content at competitive price points, Yolanda’s versatility in storytelling makes her the ideal leader for our growth strategy.” Cochran oversaw projects including “The Bold Type,”” Siren,” “Motherland: Fort Salem,” the “iCarly” reboot and the resurgence of “Nick News,” plus launched new series including Netflix’s “That Girl Lay Lay,” “NFL Slimetime” and “Good Trouble.” Cochran is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the Television Academy and serves on the board of directors for the Producers Guild of America. News of Cochran’s hiring comes as Jax Media celebrates its 14th Primetime Emmy win, this trophy for “David Letterman’s My Next Guest Needs No Introduction.” The company also produced season 4 of the hit Netflix series “Emily in Paris,” along with new seasons of “Animal Control,” “The Conners” and “Everyone Else Burns,” as well as Riz Ahmed’s upcoming series for Amazon.
