Iliza Shlesinger Sets Stand-Up Special With Prime Video
Iliza Shlesinger has closed a deal for her first comedy special at Prime Video, which will tape at the Eccles Theater in Salt Lake City on November 2.
As the voice of the Elder Millennial generation, Shlesinger uses it to bring back her familiar, physical, fast-paced style peppered with characters, animals and insights, from stripper heels to gorilla wives to a lesson for Gen Z. The only female and youngest comedian to hold the title of NBC’s Last Comic Standing, Shlesinger is a frequent guest host on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. She’s the author of multiple books, including 2022’s All Things Aside: Absolutely Correct Opinions, and also hosts the podcast AIA: Ask Iliza Anything, where she offers up her unique perspective to listeners, answering their questions on virtually any topic.
