IFC Films Rebranding as Independent Film Company

As IFC Films celebrates its 25th anniversary, it is rebranding as Independent Film Company.

IFC Films, the company behind such major indie releases as “Boyhood,” “The Death of Stalin” and “Y Tu Mamá También,” is undergoing a rebrand. IFC Entertainment Group said it had a successful 2024 scoring at the box office with the low-budget horror hits “Late Night With the Devil” and “In a Violent Nature.” It also released acclaimed films such as “Ghostlight” and the Academy Award-nominated stop-motion animated “Memoir of a Snail.” Over the coming year, the company will release Eli Craig’s “Clown in a Cornfield” and Jay Duplass’s SXSW Audience Award-winning film “The Baltimorons.” It also has Sean Byrne’s thriller “Dangerous Animals,” which will premiere in Cannes Director’s Fortnight.
