IFC Films and Shudder Buy ‘Get Away,’ Comedic Slasher Movie With Nick Frost, Aisling Bea (EXCLUSIVE)
IFC Films and Shudder have purchased North American rights to 'Get Away,' a slasher film with a funny side that stars Nick Frost.
IFC Films and Shudder, AMC Networks’ streaming service for horror, thriller and the supernatural programming, announced today that they have acquired the North American rights to Steffen Haars’ comedic slasher movie, “Get Away.” The film, which was previously titled “Svalta,” was written by Nick Frost(“Paul”), who also stars alongside Aisling Bea (“This Way Up”) Sebastian Croft (“Heartstopper”), and newcomer Maisie Ayres. Frost commented, “I’m thrilled ‘Get Away’ has found a home at IFC Films and Shudder, alongside the constant support and collaboration with Wayward Entertainment and the gang at XYZ. “Nick Frost revs up his horror comedy expertise with the support of a strong ensemble cast and Steffen Haars’ playful directorial touch.”
