Sergei Bachlakov/CBS Fire Country fans witnessed a heartbreaking death on the Friday, April 5, episode — and even the actress who played the character wishes she could have saved her. During Friday’s episode, Cara got into an ambulance accident with Bode ( Max Thieriot), which resulted in a brain injury and eventual death all before her boyfriend, Jake ( Jordan Calloway), could get to her and propose. The CBS series, which premiered in 2022, follows inmate Bode (Max Thieriot) as he gets a chance to shorten his prison sentence by volunteering for the California Conservation Camp Program.
