Iconic soap actress dies after incredible showbiz career
A legendary actress, singer and dancer who starred in the 70s ABC soap opera Ryan's Hope and was 'the greatest to ever appear on the soaps', has passed away at the age of 98
The acclaimed stage and TV actress died on Sunday, 24 November, it was confirmed by New York’s Herbert Berghof Studio, where she taught musical theatre singing classes. The talented actress also graced New York stages for over seven decades, starring in some of the most famous Broadway productions, such as Make a Wish, Hazel Flagg, Portofino, High Button Shoes, and Sweet Charity. Beyond her acting work, Helen dedicated time to nurturing young talent as an executive and artistic director at New York's Herbert Berghof Studio.
