Iconic nineties rock band are 'set to perform at the Brit Awards' - as group are up for three gongs for their latest album following an eight year hiatus


An iconic nineties group is set to perform on stage at the Brit Awards on March 2, according to new reports.

The legendary group Blur are also up for three gongs following the success of The Ballad Of Darren album , which released last year (pictured Graham Coxon, Alex James, Damon Albarn and Dave Rowntree) Damon, who also founded virtual band Gorillaz, recently made headlines when he slammed The Rolling Stones for 'objectifying' Euphoria actress Sydney Sweeney in the music video for their song Angry. Damon also criticised the Stones – comprised of Sir Mick Jagger, 80, Keith Richards, 79, and Ronnie Wood, 76 – for naming their new release after the London borough of Hackney, claiming they've 'never contributed to anything' in the area.
