Ice Spice’s Debut Album, ‘Y2K,’ Finally Arrives Next Month

Four-time Grammy-nominated rapper Ice Spice's debut album, 'Y2K,' will be released next month, the artist announced Wednesday in a social media post.

Bronx born-and-raised rapper Ice Spice had one of the fastest rises of any artist in recent memory, appearing on multiple high-profile magazine covers — including, ahem, Variety — in mainstream television shows, scoring four Grammy nominations and performing with Taylor Swift and on the stage of Coachella while having released less than half an hour of music. She made the announcement on her social media platforms Wednesday morning in a short and sweet message: HIIIII >.< Y2K ☆ THE ALBUM WILL BE DROPPING JULY 26TH !!!! Ice Spice told Variety in the September cover story that her go-to producer RiotUSA will be prominently featured in the credits with additional production from A Lau, who has worked with Jay Critch, Ski Mask the Slump God and others in the New York Drill scene.
