Ice Spice Thanks Mom for ‘Being the Best Woman Ever’ as She Accepts Hitmaker Award at Billboard Women in Music
Ice Spice proudly accepted the Hitmaker Award from Ellie Goulding at the 2024 Billboard Women in Music Awards at YouTube Theater.
First gaining recognition in 2022 with her viral single “Munch (Feelin’ You),” Ice Spice has had a string of back-to-back hits, including “Bikini Bottom,” “In Ha Mood,” “Gangsta Boo” with Lil Tjay, “Princess Diana” with Nicki Minaj, “Deli,” “Boy’s a Liar Pt. 2″ with PinkPantheress (who picked up Producer of the Year at Women in Music), “Karma” with Taylor Swift, “Barbie World” with Nicki Minaj and Aqua, and her newest hit, which debuted at no. In an interview with Billboard News on the Women in Music red carpet, Spice teased that on the album, fans “can expect a lot of bops, I really pushed myself.” She added, “The sounds are different, it’s similar but different… just stay tuned.
