Ice Spice Lands ‘Starry’ Super Bowl Commercial Debut: Exclusive
The rapper is teaming up with lemon lime soda, STARRY, for a spot at February’s Big Game
Hot off the news that the “Boy’s a Liar” star is prepping her debut album for a 2024 release, Billboard can reveal that the rapper has just landed a Super Bowl commercial for STARRY, PepsiCo’s new lemon lime soda. While STARRY is a sponsor of the NBA and WNBA, this is the beverage brand’s first-ever Super Bowl commercial, bringing the soda — and its mascots Lem and Lime — to the airwaves for the Big Game. In a press release, PepsiCo says partnering with the Grammy-nominated “Princess of Rap” was “a no brainer,” adding that “Ice Spice’s charm and charisma are unmatched, making her the perfect fit for the brand’s first Super Bowl commercial.”
