While I know new humans don’t need much to survive during those first few months (and, thankfully, I’ve been talked out of splurging on some seriously pricey non-essentials), the items I do need have been adding up — which is why I’m extra grateful for Amazon’s Baby Sale, happening now through the end of February. Black and White Toys: Kuango’s soft, crinkly, high-contrast book will no doubt come in handy during tummy time, but I love that the included block can clip onto a stroller or carrier for entertainment (and brain development) on the go. A Pack n Play: When an essential baby item costs $100 or less, I can’t help but feel skeptical, but parents clearly love this portable playpen, which includes extras like a bassinet and changing table.
