A source told The Sun: 'With Tommy Fury pulling out it gave show bosses the opportunity to look at other Love Island stars and Maura stood out as the perfect candidate. Celebrities are not allowed to take makeup into the jungle with any cosmetic products regarded as contraband famously Katie Price had her hair put into cornrows for the show back in 2004 Coleen and Tulisa will reportedly join Maura Higgins as well as longtime soap star Alan Halsall and legendary sportsman Barry McGuigan in popular reality show.
