I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! star Maura Higgins has landed back in the UK after a 23-hour flight from Australia, but Pete Wicks was not there to greet her at the airport

After coming in seventh place on the ITV show, Maura stayed in Australia for the final before arriving back in the UK on Wednesday 11 December. Maura seemed to be in good spirits as she headed out of the airport and with Pete no longer on Strictly Come Dancing, having been the latest star to be voted out of the competition, there is plenty of time for the pair to reconnect. After her exit from the jungle last week, Maura spoke to This Morning's Alison Hammond about her relationship with Pete, sheepishly admitting that she"can't wait to see him".
