When Georgia was a child she became deaf in her right ear after contracting suspected meningitis, but during her pageant trials did not disclose her hearing loss. She has previously spoken out about her pageant success and told the Yorkshire Post in 2013: "I have never regretted entering Miss England, in fact I think it was one of the best things I have ever done. Georgia and Danny started dating in 2009 and four years later he popped the question during a getaway in Cyprus.
