Nicola McLean has bravely opened up about her battle with eating disorders and the 'dangerous' lengths she went to in order to lose weight, including lying to get weight loss jabs
The 42 year old former glamour model shared her long-standing battle with eating disorders and body image issues, admitting that she falsified her BMI to purchase weight loss injections, originally intended for type 2 diabetes patients. Nicola is sharing her story to raise awareness about the potential dangers of these treatments and to caution others against seeking a "quick fix" often promised in deceptive social media ads. Nicola confessed: "So I lied about my weight, gave my normal height of 5ft 4in, my blood pressure, paid £250 for a month's worth and within a couple of days it arrived."
