I'm A Celebrity has been hit with 70 Ofcom complaints after some viewers were left unimpressed by a series of jokes from hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly

The beloved ITV show, which made its comeback just over a week ago, saw the comedic duo reference Christianity and the Bible following the arrival of Reverend Richard Coles into the Aussie jungle, alongside reality TV star Maura Higgins. Cue the music and Ant's parodying tone: "And though the night before there had been darkness and a plague of insects had been visited upon him. Prior to his jungle entrance, Ant made a cheeky five-word comment about Richard while appearing on spin-off show, I'm A Celebrity...Unpacked.
