I'm A Celeb boss reveals measures put in place to ensure contestants can't escape camp

A producer on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! has revealed all the measures that are in place to make sure hungry, wet and tired celebrities can’t escape the jungle camp

Following on from the discovery of Dean McCullough’s contraband tea bags on Thursday 22 November, they have also had to turn over any other treats they snuck into the camp, which amounted to a few illicit sachets of seasoning that Melvin Odoom had given to Tulisa. Chef Anthony Worrall-Thompson led a group of celebrities from camp in protest after they believed the nine sausages they had received following a trial amounted to inadequate food, but they were intercepted by producers. The group were placated with an alternative meal of meat and vegetables with the same amount of calories, and they decided to continue, while the drawbridge was devised to prevent such a great escape in future series.
