I went to the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards and this is what the A-listers REALLY get up to when the cameras stop rolling


The Glamour Women Of The Year Awards are one of the glitziest bashes of the year and so I was delighted when an invite dropped into my inbox this year.

As MailOnline's Acting Showbiz Editor (middle), I finished work and quickly got changed in the toilets before hopping into a cab to the incredible Raffles OWO in London's Whitehall where the event was being held (pictured with Beth Ditto and colleagues) The celebs ate cured cornish seabass to start with confit lemon, elderflower and cucumber (left) then for the main, they were served South Downs lamb, braised shoulder, gratin potato, red pepper jus and green beans (right) Elsewhere, in another powerful speech, Jameela Jamil, who bagged the Game Changing Voice Of The Year award, told the crowd: 'The patriarchy seeks to distract, destroy and erase [women] by the time we get older because we become harder to control.
