Broadcaster Huw Edwards is no longer working for the BBC, after it was announced that he had handed in his resignation following claims of alleged misconduct last year

"The events of the last few days have greatly worsened matters, he has suffered another serious episode and is now receiving in-patient hospital care where he'll stay for the foreseeable future. The allegations reported by The Sun newspaper claimed a BBC presenter paid a teenager £35,000 in exchange for sexually explicit images.
