Huw Edwards paid convicted paedo hundreds for dark web images, court hears

In July, ex-BBC newsreader Huw Edwards pleaded guilty to three counts of making indecent images of children

Former BBC presenter Huw Edwards has arrived at court ahead of his sentencing hearing for accessing indecent images of children as young as seven. The 62 year old previously admitted three charges of "making" indecent photographs after he was sent 41 illegal images by convicted paedophile Alex Williams over WhatsApp. Depending on whether the district judge feels they have sufficient authority to pass sentence, Huw might see his case escalated to crown court come Monday.
