Husband And Wife Stars Of ‘Meet The Richardsons’ Comedy Announce They’re To Divorce
The announcement comes days after the fifth season of their hit comedy debuted on Dave.
The show sees them play exaggerated versions of themselves, with other comedians and familiar faces on British TV making guest appearances. Beaumont has appeared on numerous panel shows and bases many of her jokes on her home city of Hull in the north of England. The Times of London reports that, in an interview last year, Beaumont said the couple’s fictional personas for the show, which sees them frequently engaged in bickering with each other, were not a true reflection of their real-life relationship.
