Hurricane Helene Hits Florida Theme Parks: Peppa Pig Park Closes, Disney World Opens
The Peppa Pig Theme Park in Florida has shut its doors, but Disney World is open after Hurricane Helene batters the East Coast.
Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida announced that it would be closing its doors on Friday, September 27, after the storm damaged attractions at the preschool experience. Hurricane Helene produced winds of up to 140mph and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis warned that more deaths were likely after a driver was killed by debris overnight. Other major theme parks in Florida were open as normal on Friday, including The Walt Disney World Resort.
