Brushing off the drama, Hugh, 56, walked arm-in-arm with ceramic artist Pat, 95, to see George star in the adaptation of Good Night, And Good Luck at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City.
The premise of the Broadway production is: 'Tune in to the golden age of broadcast journalism and Edward R. Murrow's (Clooney) legendary, history-altering, on-air showdown with Senator Joseph McCarthy. 'As McCarthyism casts a shadow over America, Murrow and his news team choose to confront the growing tide of paranoia and propaganda, even if it means turning the federal government and a worried nation against them.' Other cast members in the production also include Marc Brandt, Will Dagger, Ilana Glazer, Georgia Heers, Jennifer Morris and Clark Gregg.
