Hugh Jackman takes on a musical icon alongside Kate Hudson in another stunning Hollywood return after marriage split
He's best known as Wolverine, but Hugh Jackman is set to return to his roots as a song and dance man for his next Hollywood movie.
The film is a drama based on the real-life story of a married couple who won hometown fame after forming a band paying tribute to 70s superstar Neil Diamond. Jackman and Hudson will play Mike and Claire Sardina, a real-life couple from Milwaukee who form a double act called Lightning & Thunder. Based on the 2008 documentary of the same name by filmmaker Greg Kohs, also called Song Sung Blue, the dramatic musical co-stars The Sopranos star Michael Imperioli, Jim Belushi and Succession's Fisher Stevens.
