Huge pop star teases surprise Glastonbury performance with cryptic post and fans can't believe it
The day festival in Somerset is filled with surprise sets across its various stages and tents, with Lorde, Paramore and Haim rumoured to be making an appearance.
The Take That star, who headline the Worthy Farm festival himself in 1998, shared an image of a blue plaque on the Glastonbury sign in the hospitality area to mark it as a landmark. Yet earlier this month, the Mail on Sunday revealed that Lewis was set to return to the spotlight with a performance at this year’s festival, in the ‘secret slot’ on Friday at the Pyramid Stage after Alanis Morrisette. The hitmaker, who had been due to embark upon a world tour, explained he needed time to ‘adjust to the impact’ of living with Tourette’s, admitting it was ‘the most difficult [decision] of my life’.
