Huge blow for Elle Macpherson after her book tour sparked 'holistic' cancer cure controversy
Supermodel Elle Macpherson 's highly-publicised memoir has failed to set the world on fire.
Despite a raft of headlines over the past week, Elle: Life, Lessons, and Learning to Trust Yourself has not resonated with audiences based on new sales figures. Elle's memoir was beaten out by the likes of The Courage To Be Disliked: How to Free Yourself, Change Your Life and Achieve Real Happiness, by Fumitake Koga and Ichiro Kishimi, which currently sits at number nine. Addressing her breast cancer battle in a candid interview with 60 Minutes Australia, Elle told Tracy Grimshaw she was in 'shock' when she got the diagnosis, but chose not to have the mastectomy and chemotherapy that her doctors suggested.
