Howard Stern shades Jason Bateman over 'aggravating' celebrity podcasts

The shock jock, 70, appeared on an edition of the SmartLess podcast with Jason Bateman , Sean Hayes and Will Arnett recorded last month and uploaded Monday.

Howard Stern, 70, said he finds the proliferation of celebrity podcasts done from one's home 'aggravating' amid his own rough and tumble ascension to the top of the airwaves decades back. Bateman retorted, 'Bull**** I didn't say that' while Stern mused on the difficult path to broadcasting relevance he faced en route to unprecedented success marked by national syndication and later a lucrative deal with SiriusXM. Stern - who shot to fame flanked by a crew consisting of Robin Quivers, Fred Norris and Gary Dell'Abate, as well as former contributors such as Jackie Martling, Artie Lange and John Melendez, opened up about the rough terrain he conquered en route to radio stardom.
