How winning The Apprentice 'wrecked' Stella English's life after a feud with Lord Sugar left her with '£90 in the bank and led to divorce'

The Investment banker, who quit her £85,000 a year role at Japanese bank Daiwa to star on the BBC show, was left wishing she 'never went on it.'

The Apprentice returns to screen on Thursday, with a host of new hopefuls set to battle it out to earn a six-figure salary job from Lord Sugar. But not every winner has reaped the rewards of success as Stella English discovered when she was left with 'just £90 in the bank and a ruined reputation' that eventually led to her husband divorcing her. The businesswoman made the big reveal while attending the World Snooker Dinner And Awards at London's swanky Dorchester Hotel, where she debuted her bump for the first time.
