Senator J.D. Vance and Governor Tim Walz will debate ahead of the presidential election Oct. 1.
Vance and Tim Walz will have their own debate, and the rules will differ from that which took place between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris Sept. 10. No props or pre-written notes will be allowed on stage, and no topics or questions will presnted to candidates in advance. Each candidate will receive a pen, pad of paper and bottle of water, and campaign staff are not allowed to interact with either Walz or Vance during breaks.
