How to watch BAFTAs 2024: What time is the awards show and what TV channel is it on?

The ceremony, which celebrates the best British and international contributions to film will be broadcast on February 18 on BBC One at 8pm but fans can also catch up on BBC iPlayer if they miss it.

This year's nominations were unveiled on January 5 by former BAFTA Rising Star Award nominees Kingsley Ben-Adir and Naomi Ackie via livestream in London. The nominations for the 2024 ceremony on February 18 were announced in January with other British stars including Christopher Nolan, Jonathan Glazer and Vivian Oparah receiving nods. Oppenheimer, which was a box office juggernaut when it was released in cinemas last year on the same day as Barbie - sparking the Barbenheimer phenomenon - marks a crowning achievement for Nolan, who has never won the directing Bafta.
