How much BBC The Traitors contestants are paid during their time on show

The Traitors has become one of the most gripping TV shows as we eagerly watch the game unfold with round table bluffs and tricky challenges, but how much do the players get paid?

The Traitors final is fast approaching after a whirlwind few weeks of betrayal, brutal round table bluffs and tricky challenges as the contestants fight for their chance at winning the huge cash prize. It hasn't been an easy game with newfound friendships put to the test and heated conversations causing tension among the remaining contestants as the final on Friday, 26 January edges closer. Series one winner, Aaron Evans, explained in a YouTube Q&A: "They don't technically pay you, they subsidize what you would have got for work with the show, it's roughly like £100 a day."
