How Long Could Diddy Spend in Prison? Lawyer Talks 'Severe' Charges
Criminal lawyer Paul Callan explained the charges against Diddy and if there’s a chance he could get a plea deal in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly
Diddy, 54, was arrested on Monday, September 16 in New York City after a grand jury indicted him following multiple sexual assault lawsuits and a federal investigation. Callan explained that Diddy’s current situation in which he must remain in jail is “unusual” since “most federal criminal defendants are released on bond to await trial.” However, the attorney, who has been practicing law in New York City for the last three decades, believes that Diddy’s case is “likely to move quickly through the court system” because of the seriousness of the charges.
