But attempts to boost sales of the album, which featured controversial producer Dr. Luke, failed, claims insiders who branded both the record and subsequent promo a 'train wreck.' Katy said in a statement: 'I set out to create a bold, exuberant, celebratory dance-pop album with the symbolic 143 numerical expression of love as a throughline message.'
