The Princess of Wales celebrated her 42nd birthday with quiet family celebrations after four years of various national or Royal Family scandals overshadowing her day
To mark the Princess of Wales's birthday, King Charles and Queen Camilla shared a stunning photo of their daughter-in-law that was taken behind the scenes at the Coronation last year. Alongside the image, which was shared from the official Royal Family Instagram account, it had the caption: "Wishing The Princess of Wales a very happy birthday today!" The photos captured by Italian photographer Paolo Roversi, saw Kate wearing minimal make-up with her hair styled in side-swept curls as she modelled three gorgeous gowns by Alexander McQueen.
