How Is Netflix's 'Forever' Similar — and Different — From the Book?
Lovie Simone and Michael Cooper Jr. spoke exclusively to Us Weekly about how Netflix's 'Forever' compares to Judy Blume's book
Cooper Jr., 23, had a similar experience after being cast as Justin, saying, “When I booked the role I was like, ‘Hi, it’s time to read Forever.’ But my mom has been a big Judy Blume fan since she was a little girl — so I saw her excitement for the product. Fan-favorite TV couples like The Summer I Turned Pretty’s Belly and Conrad, 9-1-1‘s Buck and Eddie and The Rookie‘s Tim and Lucy deserve to finally get together on screen in 2025. Belly and Conrad’s love story has been destined to happen since Jenny Han wrote the Summer I Turned Pretty book franchise.
