Gwyneth Paltrow and ex-husband Chris Martin’s new partner, Dakota Johnson, overcame ‘tension’ to become close friends, a source tells Us
A source exclusively reveals in the latest issue of Us Weekly that Paltrow, 51, was initially “hesitant” to embrace Johnson, 34, when she started dating Chris Martin in 2017. Us Weekly exclusively confirmed in December 2017 that the Coldplay singer had moved on with Johnson less than two years after his divorce from Gwyneth Paltrow was finalized in July 2016. Paltrow was also wary of the age gap but eventually changed her mind after watching Johnson as a stepmother figure to Apple and Moses.
