How Charles and Kate supported each other in hospital before shock cancer diagnosis
King Charles and Kate Middleton have been supporting each other through their cancer diagnosis, with the monarch 'toddling' through the hospital to support his daughter-in-law
On Thursday, 21 March, a day before news broke of Kate Middleton's cancer diagnosis, Charles is said to have driven to Windsor Castle to have lunch with his daughter-in-law. It is thought the senior royals spoke about Kate's impending health announcement which reportedly left the monarch feeling "very emotional". This was only increased following a digitally manipulated photograph of the Wales family and a trip to a local farm shop with her husband Prince William.
