How Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni's Sex Scenes Changed From Page to Screen
Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively have been entrenched in a messy legal battle after costarring in the romantic drama ‘It Ends With Us’ last year
Lively later sued Baldoni and his production company, Wayfarer Studios, for alleged sexual harassment and an attempt to launch a “smear campaign against her.” She also accused Baldoni of adding gratuitous nudity and unwanted kissing scenes to the movie, revealing that she crafted a 17-point “return to set condition” document mid-filming that demanded “no more adding of sex scenes, oral sex or on camera climaxing by BL outside the scope of the script BL approved when signing onto the project.” The site, which consists of 168 pages of what Baldoni claims to be text messages, emails, notes and more include the director’s alleged interactions with the movie’s intimacy coordinator and coproducer Jamey Heath about his plans for every sex scene in the film. Baldoni also had an alleged concept for “implied oral sex,” noting that if Lively was “comfortable,” the scene would show “Ryle kissing her belly then leaving frame for a moment then staying on her face.”
