Latin and Spanish artists were the subject as music execs discussed global success strategies at Billboard's first Spanish Language Music Summit.

During the opening panel at Billboard's Spanish Language Music Summit in Madrid, executives discussed strategies on how to break Latin artists globally. Superstar managers Walter Kolm( Maluma, Carlos Vives), Jorge “Pepo” Ferradas( Camilo, Rels B), Fede Lauria(who owns Dale Play Records and also manages Bizarrap and Nicki Nicole), Rosa Lagarrigue( Rozalén, Raphael) and Sony U.S. Latin president Alex Gallardo candidly discussed the challenges and opportunities currently facing artists both in Spain and in Latin America. Spanish artists sometimes aren’t willing to make the sacrifices needed to “conquer the world,” said Kolm, who manages Maluma, Vives, Wisin and Emilia, among others, via his WK Entertainment.
