House of the Dragon Season 2 finale leaves fans FURIOUS about the anti-climactic ending: 'Where is the rest of the episode?'
HBO 's House of the Dragon closed out its second season with Sunday night's season finale, which left fans mostly underwhelmed.
Many took to X (formerly Twitter) to express their frustration over the episode, which ultimately set the table for what many are hoping is an exciting Season 3... although it comes at the expense of a lackluster finale. While there were its share of surprising moments - including a bold gambit by Alicent (Olivia Cooke) and a shockingly unclaimed Iron Throne - many were left disappointed. The first season ended with the shocking deal of Rhaenyra Targaryn's ( Emma D'Arcy) son Lucerys at the hands of Aemond (Ewan Mitchell), which set the stage for the "war" to come.
