Hours After Lashing Out At NBC News, Donald Trump Talks To Network About “Unlimited” Israel-Iran Ceasefire
The president continued the habit of calls to reporters after major news events.
On the assumption that everything works as it should, which it will, I would like to congratulate both Countries, Israel and Iran, on having the Stamina, Courage, and Intelligence to end, what should be called, “THE 12 DAY WAR.” This is a War that could have gone on for years, and destroyed the entire Middle East, but it didn’t, and never will! Trump’s call with Alcindor follows a pattern of the president getting on the phone with individual reporters after major breaking news events, including on Saturday and Sunday after the U.S. bombings, and the day after his social media blowup with Elon Musk. But a number of news outlets have cautioned that a full damage assessment has not been completed, although satellite imagery showed extensive destruction.
