Hot-Button Donald Trump Movie ‘The Apprentice’ Still Poised For Pre-Election Release Despite Financier Dispute

The controversial movie, which Trump's team has tried to block, has earmarked a pre-election release.

October 11 has been the date we’ve heard for a while now but uncertainty has been fuelled by an ongoing gnarly mediation between the producers and financier Kinematics, which is owned by Trump supporter Dan Snyder who reportedly took umbrage over the film’s depiction of the former POTUS. The film charts a young Donald Trump’s ascent to power through a Faustian deal with the influential right-wing lawyer and political fixer Cohn. Executive producers are Amy Baer, Mark H. Rapaport, Emanuel Nunez, Grant S. Johnson, Phil Hunt, Compton Ross, Thorsten Schumacher, Levi Woodward, Niamh Fagan, Gabriel Sherman, Greg Denny, James Shani, Noor Alfallah, Andy Cohen, Andrew Frank, Neil Mathieson, Lee Broda, Blair Ward, Anders Erdén.
