Home Alone's pigeon lady is unrecognisable 32 years after starring in famous Christmas film

Brenda Fricker, who played the pigeon lady in Home Alone 2 back in 1992 and won an Oscar for her role in My Left Foot, decided to take a break from acting in recent years

Brenda Fricker, the Irish actress who played the iconic Pigeon Lady in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, has left fans stunned as she looks unrecognisable 32 years after the Christmas classic was released. Now, at 79, Brenda's character remains beloved for her poignant bond with young Kevin, played by Macaulay Culkin, as a homeless woman living with her pigeons in Central Park. The film follows Kevin's chaotic adventures after being accidentally left behind by his parents, played by Catherine O'Hara and John Heard, during a family vacation.
